Yoga & Yoga Nidra Retreat

An immersion into the wisdom of the body, deep rest and nature to recalibrate our nervous systems, brighten our creative force and connect to heartfelt community.
Each day will include morning practices of yoga asana, therapeutic movement and meditation, and late afternoon practices of yoga nidra, contemplative journaling and creative exploration, designed to interconnect and build over the week. Cumulatively, this special week will focus on a series of beloved practices and teachings to create sankalpa, heartfelt intention.
Supporting the flow of daily practice, the schedule will unfold at a slow, relaxed pace with plenty of space to lounge by the pool, enjoy a massage with the sounds of the ocean in the distance and indulge in simple pleasures.
Through it all, this special experience will unfold as a deep dive into the heart – how it can be deeply felt and honored in our lives and far beyond our time together.
Our retreat home is Playa Viva, a regenerative boutique hotel that operates with deep care for the environment and communities within and around it. Situated at the base of the Sierra Madre Mountains on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, this special place feels like a luxurious immersion in nature, with award-winning oceanfront rooms, a mile of private beach and 200 acres of nature reserve.
One space where their commitment to the environment shines is in their work to protect sea turtles. Each year thousands of Olive Ridley (Golfina) turtles and dozens of endangered Green (Negra) and Leatherback (Laud) turtles come to the shores of Playa Viva to lay their eggs. Playa Viva founded La Tortuga Viva (LTV) in 2010 to protect these turtles from predators and poachers alike. Since then, LTV has safely released over 450,000 baby sea turtles.
The turtles nest year round, with turtles arriving to lay eggs peaking during the rainy season, between July and October. Due to the normal 45 day gestation period, hundreds of baby turtles are expected to be released during the same window as our retreat!
A portion of your retreat package will be donated to support the Playa Viva Regenerative Trust, founded in 2013 to support the environment and community of Juluchuca of which Playa Viva is a part. The funds received are deposited with The Ocean Foundation who serves as fiscal sponsor for La Tortuga Viva Turtle Sanctuary and local community.

Six nights / seven days accommodation
Two daily practices
The morning practice will be active and dynamic; a blend of asana and movement.
The late afternoon practice will center on yoga nidra, contemplative journaling and creativityone special afternoon practice will be explore yoga nidra and creative practice, with all supplies included

Accommodations
All rooms are spaced out to provide a beachfront view and thoughtfully built with unique design quirks. From smaller rooms that open up to enhance the connection with nature, to stunning palapa roofs, to award-winning bamboo treehouses that float on palm trees.
Accommodations feel like going to a luxurious camp. Though there are private room options available, most spaces are designed to be shared. It is encouraged to consider a shared accommodation to experience the joys of this environment among friends.
All rooms are outfitted with high quality, locally sourced organic sheets and towels, organic soap, shampoo, lotion and conditioner, and have private bathrooms.

Private, single room — $3,800 early bird, $4,100 regular pricing
Shared, double room king — $3,300 early bird, $3,600 regular pricing, per person
Shared, double room queen or two single beds — $3,200 early bird, $3,500 regular pricing, per person
Shared, triple or quadruple room, single beds — $2,400 early bird, $2,700 regular pricing, per person
For shared rooms, guests are invited to sign up with friends or be assigned roommates.

Save your spot!
A $500 nonrefundable deposit saves your spot for each retreat package option, locking in early bird pricing if paid prior to October 1, 2026. From there, guests will receive a welcome email with an option to create a monthly payment plan* or pay one final payment on December 1, 2026.
To arrange payment and save your spot, please send me an email with your preferred accommodation option. For shared rooms, please share if you will be coming with friends or if you’d like to be assigned roommates (for triple / quadruple rooms). From there, I will send a payment link for your deposit. ❤️
*Payment plans are welcomed if it supports you in arriving with greater ease! Please send me a note to explore a custom payment plan, ranging from 4-8 monthly payments.
Transportation info:
Fly to / from the ZIH airport, where the group shuttle will pick up guests early afternoon January 16 and take guests back January 22. Exact shuttle timing will be shared in your retreat welcome packet.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations by October 31, 2026 – 50% refund of retreat package available, not including initial deposit. Guest will be responsible for covering this portion of their package, whether it has been paid or was still scheduled to be paid. Exceptions exist for if a guest's retreat spot is filled.
Cancellations after October 31, 2026 – no refund available. Guest is responsible for paying their retreat package balance. Exceptions exist for if a guest's retreat spot is filled.
